This is where you will get your weekly dose of Monday motivation. Monday’s can be hard to face. I know this and I feel for you. So, I have committed to showing up in your inbox weekly on Mondays with a little Monday positivity to start your week off right.
Motivational Monday
For today’s Motivational Monday I want to start out by reminding you that whatever happens to you today and this week in general, you are going to figure it out!
This week you may be faced with discouragement or some other challenge. It will be a difficult and exhausting challenge to face.
But, don’t forget there’s nothing that a little coffee and some prayer can’t fix.
Monday morning mindset: Be consistent in all you do
Success will never occur from something you do occasionally. Success only occurs when you do something consistently.
It took me a while to realize this. I was wondering why I wasn’t seeing results in different things even though I was taking action. That’s when I realized that I can’t just show up on social media sometimes and expect to grow my engagement. Or, when it comes to blogging- I can’t just blog sometimes.
I have to show up consistently and daily on social media. And I have to blog often. I actually created a schedule for myself in order to hold myself accountable.
In case you missed it, my word of the year is consistency.

Consistency is important because it helps us develop routines and build momentum.
I know that with consistency I can form good habits that will make me more productive and successful no matter what goals I set. Or even despite how many goals I set this year.
Monday Morning Weekly Activity

I am challenging you to write down 1-3 things that you would like to become more consistent within your life. Comment 1-3 things below.
Once you have identified the areas and things you want to be more consistent in your life. I want you to work towards achieving your goal of becoming more consistent.
Apply these 12 Steps to Maintaining Consistency
- Create specific and realistic goals
- Create a schedule for yourself
- Place reminders around your home and workspace
- Make commitments only if you can keep them
- Reward yourself when you make achievements towards your goals
- Keep going even if you make a mistake or fall short
- Take breaks if you need to recharge
- Stay motivated even when you don’t feel like it
- Hold yourself accountable
- Set boundaries that will help you succeed
- Refrain from negative thinking
- Strengthen your willpower and keep going
