For this week’s Motivational Monday the message is surrounding goals. It’s no secret that people with goals succeed.
People with Goals Succeed
Some people wonder why some people seem to have it all figured out? Well, those people are people who have set goals. Those people have a clear understanding of their “why” and they have planned out the next moves that will get them to the finish line.
People with goals succeed because they know where they are going and they know how they are going to get there.
Monday Morning Activity
If you currently are not setting goals for yourself- I need you to stop what you are doing right now and get a pen and paper.
Start off this Monday morning by thinking of your “why”.
There is a reason “why” we do what we do and make the choices that we make. Heck, it’s even a reason “why” we wake up each morning and get out of bed.
For me it’s my goals that motivate me to get out of the bed especially on Mondays when I have the Monday blues.
Let me be honest with you, I know that people with goals are those who succeed. I am “people”. And I refuse to be anything less.
Remember, you only fail when you stop trying and when you stop setting goals.
The future depends on what you do today.
Mahatma Gandhi
Write down your why and then jot down your goals for this week.
Success will never occur from something you do occasionally. Success only occurs when you do something consistently. So, this week begin to set weekly goals and plan consistently.
Once you begin to set goals consistently you will notice your success and so will others around you.
You got this! I know you can do it!
Monday Morning Reminders:
- I can do it!
- I don’t have to please everyone.
- It’s ok if I take a break.
- My will and power are stronger than my excuses.
- When in doubt, drink coffee.

Yea I agree.
Those with goals do succeed and those who are consistent with them too. I second that. And when in doubt I have tea (tea lover here). Thanks for sharing x

Thanks for the great reminder! Without goals, I feel like I’m just flailing. I feel so much better when I have everything written down and planed out. I actually know what direction to go in.

Some lovely motivation for the start of the week! I really struggle with Mondays, they are always just a down day for me but I’ll try to do some of this to improve that!

Thank you for the motivation to write my goals down! I am great at setting goals in my head or talking to others about them but I rarely write them down. I think the only times I have were when it was part of an assignment in school. I have a planner where I can write them so I am actually going to use it! 🙂

Hi Heidi,
Writing down my goals has become such a important task. Trust me, it worth it and so rewarding. It’s also a great way to hold yourself accountable.

I honestly love Mondays, as hard as that might be to believe, so I was excited to read this post. I find Mondays to be motivating too- what is more exciting than starting a new week and having opportunities to accomplish your goals? I love what you said about how important it is to set goals and write down your why. I completely agree with you. I cannot wait to see your next Motivational Monday post! This was an enjoyable read.

Thank you so much! I am so happy you enjoyed this weeks post. I would have to say Sundays are my favorite, because that’s when I get my life together and start planning my goals for the week.
