I am blogging today not only to celebrate myself on my birthday but I am blogging to share with the world 27 Gifts of Gratitude to My 27-Year-Old Self.
A message from a grateful 27-year-old
Today is my birthday. Happy Birthday to me! I am another year older and today marks 27 amazing years here on earth. It’s kinda hard to believe that I am closer to 30 than I am to 20 years old. But, to say less I am grateful to see another year.
Memories and experiences
My twenties have been filled with a lot of memories. I married young at 19 and my twenties was been a time of growing and learning how not only to be a good wife but also an amazing mother to some very amazing kids.
I have experienced a lot of love and unfortunately experienced a great loss. The hardest time was dealing with the loss of our youngest daughter. Losing a child is devastating, and being a young parent was very hard. But by facing the challenge of losing a child I am so much stronger as a woman, mother, and person.
Lessons learned
I have learned so much in my 27 years. Some lessons were easy and others were hard. Best of all, each lesson has shaped me into who I am today and I love who I am. And each and every day I fall more in love with myself when I wake up and look at myself in the mirror.
With the many things I have to be grateful for, today I am going to share with you 27 special things that I am grateful to myself for manifesting thus far in my life.

Gifts of Gratitude
I was encouraged to write this post after discovering Steph at Scale It Simple blog post, 29 Gifts of Gratitude to my 29 Year Old Self.
Everything listed above is all of the simple things that I am personally grateful for.
I refused to walk into chapter 27 of my life with any guilts of shoulda, coulda, wouldas. At 27-years-old I can say that I have accomplished everything I ever dreamed about.
Life is good and each day it gets even better. I wake up and make a choice to do what I love and what fulfills me (blogging). And I am surrounded by the ones I love, which keeps me forever grateful and sane.
What are you personally thankful for?
If I had to leave you with one piece of advice I would encourage you to practice gratitude towards yourself each and every day. And most importantly take it easy and love yourself!
