My Goal #1 For This Month: Learn a New Skill
I have been bringing my blog to the next level this past month. Consequently, because I have branched out from wordpress.com and I now host my blog myself, this has forced me to learn so many new skills.
First, learning how to code has been a major learning curve for me. With this challenge, I have grown eager to master this new skill of coding. My goal is to be better than basic at coding. Trust me, my coding skills are going to be advance by the end of this year. Just watch me!
In fact, here is the scoop on how I will accomplish my goal. I will set aside 15-20 minutes a day to watch YouTube tutorials and read articles from experts. I have a big vision for my blog layout and emails that I don’t want to have to wait or pay someone to do it for me. This month, learning how to code as a new skill would give me the ability to make my dreams come true and save me a lot of money while doing it.
Strategies to make learning a new skill successful
- Make it meaningful. I know that learning a new skill will benefit me and my brand.
- Learn by doing. This will provide me with the practice and experience I need to perform the new skill.
- Study the experts. Studying experts will advance my basic knowledge and skills.
My Goal #2 For This Month: Drink More Water
Secondly, drinking water is a good practice that we can all should be proactive about. But, I would be a liar if I told you that I drink the recommended amount of water each day.
The past few months I have not been drinking as much water as I should and I feel the difference in my overall energy and performance. My goal is to drink more water. I have no excuse as to why I haven’t been drinking a lot of water like I used too.
The Hydro Jug makes it so easy to drink a gallon of water per day. My goal was to drink a half-gallon in the morning and a half-gallon in the evening. I was doing so great at this and I really want to get back on track.
Benefits of Drinking More Water
- Maximize and improve physical performance
- Increase energy levels
- Improve brain function
- Prevent and treat headaches
- Aid and support weight loss
So, this month drinking more water is my top goal! In order to accomplish this, I will get back into my habit of carrying my Hyrdo Jug everywhere with me. I know that if I have it with me, there is no excuse for me not to hit my water intake goal each day.
In short, I highly recommend the Hydro Jug because it is a reusable jug and is easy to carry- thanks to the optional sleeve you can purchase. With the ability to hold half a gallon of water, this jug makes it easy to reach my water goal.

My Goal #3 For This Month: Create A Morning Routine
Creating a morning routine requires consistency. And with consistency comes success, allowing you to focus and achieve the results you want.
Establishing a consistent morning routine is what determines how productive your day will be. It’s all about creating a morning routine that works for you! Don’t try to mimic anyone else. For instance, I wake up at 4:45 am daily. This works for me but may not work for you.
Setting realistic and achievable goals is what matters the most. Trying to mimic someone else’s morning routine and wake up time will not work for you if it does not fit your lifestyle. Select a time that meets your needs. Just remain consistent.
How you can make establishing a morning routine work for you
- Establish a wake-up time
- List all the things you need to accomplish for the day (exercise, work, read, etc.)
- Schedule important items first on your list when you have the most energy to accomplish them
